It’s always nice to hear patients being complementary about my work or manner or the practice as a whole. Yesterday I had a lady really genuinely enthusing that I was the best dentist she had ever found. It really made my morning.
All I did was a checkup but I guess the key is that I did a “proper checkup”, which for me means:

Sharing my experiences of the benefits of having a TV in the surgery and various ways you can use it to show photos and videos to patients as well as making the surgery a nicer place to be.
    Yesterday I had the honour of being invited to speak at Bristol Dental Hospital's careers afternoon. So I took the girls to school, did some housework and then drove to Ikea and then onto the dental school. (I have now reached the productivity ninja level of being able to do a full Ikea shop, getting all 40+ items on my list in under an hour without losing my sense of calm!)
