In preparation for my move to Exeter I am slowly working through a long list of ideas to research and rethink so that when I start I can hit the ground running doing dentistry the way I want.
Sharing my experiences of the benefits of having a TV in the surgery and various ways you can use it to show photos and videos to patients as well as making the surgery a nicer place to be.
My iPad pen kept on getting misplaced so I came up with a solution.
If I was feeling arty I might call it "Juxtaposition - the amalgamation of a classic 1850s design with truly 21st century technology."
But I'm not feeling arty so I call it "clothes peg glued to an iPad stand". It does however work perfectly!
I have recently purchased a new iPad "pen" as I wanted to have a spare and the one I was using previously was an ultra basic one with a very big writing tip.
The new pen I bought is the dimples excel model shown above which actually comes as a set of 2 pens, each with a chunky end like my old pen and a fine writing tip. 6 replacement tips also come in the set. The fact that it comes with so many replacement tips worried me a little that they may be very fragile but currently I am pleasantly surprised with the build quality so I am hoping they will last quite a while. I chose the standard black pens but there are lots of other colours available.
