This month has been a funny one. At times I have not felt like I have been doing much but this reflection process helps to make me realise I have in fact done rather a lot during the last few weeks. In October I have: Read/listened to
1) Essentialism 2) The power of Habit 3) The organized mind Shared ideas of my own including a review of sugar and the alternatives, whether dentistry could be endangering your hearing and the power of a diet diary. I have really enjoyed continuing teaching as a clinical supervisor on Thursdays and feel I am getting into my stride with that. This month I was also published in Aesthetic Dentistry Today sharing a review of 3 books that have had a big impact on my mindset this year. And I have also given presentations to the local study club and at the Bristol Dental Hospital careers day discussing organising your time and incorporating photography into your routine. I put up these reviews not to try to brag about how much I am doing but to hopefully help others realise the power in reflecting on your time. Do you reflect on your day/week/month? It is a very powerful tool and a great habit to get into.
