Reflecting on this month it feels like I have achieved a lot, in terms of work, reading and also in my outlook on many non-dental things in my life. In November I have:
Read/listened to 1) Peak performance 2) Finding flow 3) Critical thinking lectures 4) Life on purpose 5) The art of learning Some of these books have had a profound impact on my thought processes and outlook on what I do and how I want to push forward into next year. More of this in future blog posts. As discussed previously, I am on a path to improving my diet and this month has seen further improvements in this area. I have finally been able to remove all refined sugar from my diet and increased my organic food intake. It has taken a lot of careful thought and help from my ever-patient wife. I have finally found a sugar-free and organic mayonnaise after many months of searching. This is a big deal for me because I love mayonnaise. I have also found ways to eat more without feeling guilty. For instance I now have 2 breakfasts. One at home and a bircher that I prepare the night before when I get to work. This month I have also shared ideas of my own including a few videos about Tai Chi, square breathing, ways to improve revision. I have quite enjoyed getting back into the groove of creating videos which is something I did a fair bit of earlier in the year. Once again, reflecting on your day/week/month really is so powerful. If you don't do so already I would strongly suggest you get into this habit.
